Now our most popular machine the Excalibur has an intermediate capacity of 635 x 405mm with 100mm work clearance. Staff and pupils alike enjoy the industrial work-rates and productivity this system delivers. An industrial routing spindle is fitted as standard allowing industrial milling cutters to be used as well as our low cost D bit types.

The spindle is also supplied with a pressure foot that in addition to helping secure the work piece also provides very efficient swarf extraction allowing you to see the project as it is manufactured.

The Excalibur is extremely simple to set up, automatic X-Y datum and semi-automated electronic surface setting. The industrial heritage of the Excalibur is obvious and provides fast machining rates in an infinite range of materials. It is an excellent machine for the high speed cutting of larger CAM products at examination level.

The safety cover affords excellent visibility and allows the machine to be set on a bench or mounted on the optional trolley for portability, in use the machine is quiet enough to use in the classroom without being obtrusive.

Delivery and training is included with all SureCAM machines allowing you to make full and proper use of your investment immediately. INSET training is available post installation for refresher or new starts.

SureCAM machines feature "open architecture" and are directly compatible with 2D Design (tm). Additionally SureCAM machines are compatible with Pro/DESKTOP (tm), Pro/ENGINEER (tm), SolidWorks (tm), AutoDESK (tm), ArtCAM (tm)Crocodile Clips (tm), Circuit Wizard (tm), VCarve (tm) + others.
