The ILS (Industrial Laser Systems) are the flagships from Universal Lasers. The ILS machines easily accommodate large projects and jobs. Don't let the large size of these systems deceive you, they include the most up to date technology from ULS and despite their size will deliver great performance and unsurpassed quality. We always recommend the optional air-assist for protection against damage from dust and fumes. When ULS set out to produce these larger cabinet lasers compromising quality was not an option. Many large cabinet systems are an overstretched version of smaller machines meaning compromises must be made concerning quality or speed. The ILS machines have been designed from the ground up to ensure they deliver high work rates without any loss of quality. A 50-watt laser will easily cut 12mm thick acrylic in a single pass and with a HEPA filter, cutting table and air assist is our most popular configuration for classroom use. System Overview

The 12.150D is a super-sized laser capable of industry leading production levels and quality. These new machines from ULS raise the bar on performance and features which include the worlds most advanced materials-based driver, auto focus and optional pass through. The ILS is the worlds only laser system that can legally operate between CDRH class 1 and CDRH class 4 (patent pending). An embedded computer can be fitted which for industrial applications make it possible to integrate the ILS within an automated production line. Accessories

ILS machines are not designed to portable. Materials-based interface
ILS systems feature the most advanced version of ULS's unique materials interface. Design your project then print the file from your software using the VLS printer option. The driver will open allowing you to choose the material and enter its thickness. Click OK and press Start. Additional materials can be added allowing the set up of the machine to be made by project description or even class, a superb solution for staff with lower levels of experience of supply teachers. The advanced interface allows you to tune power, speed of cut and pulse to any organic material. Suregrave customers receive a comprehensive guide for the most common materials along with CD based set ups you can copy to your hard disc. Low cost of ownership
As ULS manufacture their own laser cartridges you are always assured of receiving a grade "A" cartridge, this will work longer and retain its accuracy longer than lower grade options. You will benefit from the lowest cartridge replacements - guaranteed. Protected drive gear and optics
ILS drive components feature brand new lightweight designs which like their smaller siblings include self-adjusting + sealed bearings (no contamination), Kevlar reinforced drive belts (do not stretch) requiring minimal maintenance and giving years of trouble free service. Unlike other systems ULS Optics are shielded and protected by the co-axial air assist system, they feature quick Release Covers they remain cleaner for longer and require changing less frequently.
