The PLS (Professional Laser Systems) feature a modern modular design and include the very latest patented technology from ULS. When compared to an equivalent capacity VersaLaser they provide increased productivity and resolution. Lightweight components and the very latest in motion control technology delivers fast cutting speeds with optimal quality, we recommend the optional air-assist for the industries best protection against damage from dust and fumes. High productivity and quality cutting with long life and reliability are bye words of the PLS range. The latest move and control technology gives these laser cutters a turbo button. Their higher potential speed makes them compatible with laser cartridges from 10 to 75 watts. A 30-watt laser will cut approx 12mm thick acrylic in a single pass and with a HEPA filter, cutting table and air assist is our most popular configuration for classroom use. System Overview

PLS4.75 (610 x 460mm) with 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 75 watt laser cartridge The PLS4.75 is a oversized M-360 giving a full 50% extra work area, the additional work area allows nesting of multiple jobs or larger single project pieces to be produced. The PLS6.75 & PLS6.150D (dual laser cartridge) PLS6.75/PLS6.150D (810 x 460mm) with 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 75 watt laser cartridge Where a larger work are is required the 6.75 and 6.150D systems are ideal. Though the work area is large by comparison the machines are still easy to load and unload; overall the 6 series don't take up much more floor space than the smaller family members. The VLS6.75 provides high production laser processing with up to 75 watts. The 6.150D can be fitted with two cartridges delivering up to 150 watts power, excellent for cutting thicker work pieces. The new PLS systems feature the unique materials interface. Design your project then print the file from your software using the VLS printer option. The driver will open allowing you to choose the material and enter its thickness. Click OK and press Start, the VLS system allows you to work smarter, not harder. New materials can be added allowing the set up of the machine to be made by project description or even class, a superb solution for staff with lower levels of experience of supply teachers. As ULS manufacture their own laser cartridges you are always assured of receiving a grade "A" cartridge, this will work longer and retain its accuracy longer than lower grade options. You will benefit from the lowest cartridge replacements - guaranteed. Protected drive gear and optics
PLS drive components feature the latest lightweight designs including; self-adjusting + sealed bearings (no contamination), Kevlar reinforced drive belts (do not stretch) requiring minimal maintenance and giving years of trouble free service. Unlike other systems ULS Optics are shielded and protected by the co-axial air assist system. Featuring quick Release Covers they remain cleaner for longer and require changing less frequently.
