The Wizard is a compact bench top machine with a 305 x 305mm work area. The maximum work holding clearance is 35mm making it suitable for the profile machining of sheet materials and 3D shapes. The cockpit style safety cover provides good all round visibility and is controlled on the PC screen via the Suregrave "virtual handset", this allows the machine to be operated with out obscuring the machining process.

Using the Wizard inspires pupil confidence thanks to its automatic registration to the bottom left datum, work placement against stops, simplistic Z setting, and a top loading spindle.

This method of cutter holding is simpler and faster than router spindle making the machine particularly suitable to KS3 project. The machine can be set up with a combination of pre-datumed cutters making it ideal for Product Design and electronics courses.

The work area allows for a variety of prototypes to be produced, giving students the ability to set-up a machine and manufacture products in quantity in a wide range of resistant materials including Flexible Laminate, Acrylic, ABS, wood and metals such as Brass and Aluminum. With the addition of 3D-GeoCAM it is ideal for machining 3D objects in MDF and modeling materials. Typical projects for this machine have included: PCB manufacture, board game parts, fridge magnets, point of sale displays, mobile phone holders and clip together projects.

Delivery and training is included with all SureCAM machines allowing you to make full and proper use of your investment immediately. INSET training is available post installation for refresher or new starts.

SureCAM machines feature "open architecture" and are directly compatible with 2D Design (tm). Additionally SureCAM machines are compatible with Pro/DESKTOP (tm), Pro/ENGINEER (tm), SolidWorks (tm), AutoDESK (tm), ArtCAM (tm)Crocodile Clips (tm), Circuit Wizard (tm), VCarve (tm) + others.
